Privacy policy

This policy explains what we do with the information you share with MKN Movers. We keep it short and plain because you shouldn’t need a law degree to understand how your details are handled.

What we collect

When you fill in the quote form or contact us, we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, email address, the pickup and drop-off addresses, your preferred moving date if you give one, and any notes you add. We only ask for what we need to quote and carry out your move.

How we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out your move, and keep in touch about it. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t pass it to anyone who isn’t involved in providing your move.

The website

Our quote form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated abuse; your use of it is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms. If analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used — this data doesn’t identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser if you prefer.

Keeping your data

We hold your enquiry and move details only as long as we need them — to handle your move, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and deal with any follow-up. After that we securely delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, in line with UK data protection law. To do any of these, email us at hello@mknmovers.com and we’ll deal with it.
