Packing, as much or as little as you like
Some people quite enjoy packing. Most don’t. Either way, you choose how hands-on to be — from a stack of boxes to the whole place packed and unpacked for you.
Packing is where a move quietly goes right or wrong. Boxes packed too heavy, fragile things wrapped in a tea towel and hope, nothing labelled — it all catches up with you at the other end. Done properly, packing is half the battle won before the van even arrives.
We treat it as a menu, not a fixed package. Take the materials and do it yourself, hand us the rooms you dread, or step back and let us do the lot. Whatever keeps your move calm.
Just the materials
Sturdy boxes, tape, bubble wrap, paper and covers, delivered so you can pack at your own pace before the day.
A hand with the hard rooms
The kitchen, the glassware, the framed pictures — the bits that take longest and break easiest. We do those; you do the rest.
Full pack & unpack
We pack everything, room by room, wrapped and labelled, and can unpack at the other end so you’re not living out of boxes.
Packing questions
Can I just buy boxes without full packing?
Yes. Plenty of people take materials only and pack themselves. We can drop off boxes, tape, paper and wrap so you’re ready well before moving day.
Do you pack fragile things properly?
That’s the main reason people ask us to pack. Glass, china, mirrors, pictures and electronics get the right wrapping and boxes so they survive the journey — including the stairs and the van.
Can you pack just the kitchen?
Yes, the kitchen is the room we’re asked to do most. It’s fiddly and slow, so a lot of people pack the easy rooms themselves and hand the kitchen and breakables to us.
Do you unpack at the other end too?
We can. Tell us when you book and we’ll build unpacking into the plan — getting the essentials out and boxes cleared so you’re settled quickly.
Want a hand with the packing?
Tell us how much you’d like to do yourself and how big the home or office is, and we’ll fold packing into your quote.
