What counts as a man-and-van job?
Usually a driver and one mover with a van sized to the load — a few items, a small flat, a pickup, or shifting things into storage. If it grows into a full house or office, we’ll say so and switch you to a proper removals crew rather than squeeze it into a small van.
Do you help carry, or is it just the driving?
We carry. It’s a man-and-van service, not van hire — the crew loads, moves and unloads for you. If you’d rather do some of the lifting yourself to keep it quick, that’s fine too; just tell us when you book.
Can you come at short notice?
Often, yes. Man-and-van jobs are easier to slot in than a full move, so short-notice work is frequently doable. Send us the details and we’ll tell you honestly what we can do.
What about a single big item, like a sofa?
That’s a classic man-and-van job. One awkward item up or down stairs, across town or further, and we’ll bring the right van and the muscle to shift it without marking your walls or the item.
